Maintenance Electrician

We have an opening for an Electrical qualified maintenance engineer within the Edinburgh or surrounding areas. The role predominantly requires you to carry out electrical reactive and planned works on a variety of commercial sites mainly within the retail sector. You will be required to competently assess and repair electrical faults, carry out minor installations as well as carry out routine planned maintenance (including periodic testing). The successful candidate will be required to work within a designated radius of their home and must be able to work alone as well as supporting colleagues in your area when required. Candidates are required to hold a valid driving licence and hold the relevant electrical qualifications to be deemed competent within the electrical field. Applicants with experience of carrying out electrical maintenance works within large retail units will hold a distinct advantage in the sifting process. Due to the requirements of the business to log works with both the clients internal systems and our own in-house systems, applicants must be comfortable in using a tablet to receive and send E-mails as well as using other applications installed on the system (full training will be provided) . The successful candidate will be required to join the on-call rota as well as working occasional nights as and when required by client demand.
