Responsum Global Advanced Steel Draughtsman – Architectural Metalwork Steel Fabrication Permanent Location – Portsmouth Salary - Negotiable Depending on Experience A fantastic long-term opportunity has arisen for one client who specialise in the Design and Draughting of Specialist Architectural Metalwork for the Construction Industry. They specialise in structural steelwork, architectural metalwork, balustrading, handrails, railings & spiral staircases. Due to a large workload and continued expansion they are now looking for a experienced draughtsman who can use Advanced Steel detailing software & also ideally carry out site surveys. This position is going to be office based so the candidate will be within a commutable distance and have experience in the steel fabrication, structural steel of architectural metalwork industry. Responsibility & Duties * Read & understand drawings by Structural Engineers and Architects * CAD Modelling using Advance Steel software of structural and architectural steelwork such as portal frames, mezzanine floors, staircases, and balustrading. * General Assembly drawings * Site Surveys * Assembly and part drawings * Liaising with clients, structural engineers, architects, and fabricators Experience & Qualification * Experience within architectural metalwork, Structural Steel essential * Experience with AutoCAD Essential * Advanced Steel Essential * Portfolio advantageous * Structural steelwork, and experience in balustrading, balcony systems, staircases, mezzanine floors or steel portal frame would be advantageous Should this be of interest to you please get in contact and send your most up to date cv to my email address below as soon as possible.
