Junior Buyer Kent Salary: £28k - £35k Company UK leading Main Contractor that specializes in New Build projects, whether it be flats or care homes. This is a Main Contractor that sees themselves as a Partnership, who aim to treat there staff fairly and give them everything chance to progress within the company. Company renowned for the work that they deliver which has resulted them winning numerous awards on a consistent basis. The Role Due to an increase in workload, this Main Contractor is looking for an ambitious and career driven individual to become the companies new Junior Buyer. You will be the regulator for the materials required for a project you are assigned to, in which you will purchase the products in accordance with an established budget. Working closely with a Buyer, you will be using supply chains to buy the right materials that are within in budget. Using Excel, you will be keeping track of the money that is spent on materials to ensure that everything is on track and things do not go astray. Communicate and negotiate with existing suppliers. Raising Purchase orders. Requirements University Degree. Experience using Excel on a regular basis. Good communication skills. Strong negotiation skills. Experience working for a Main Contractor.
