Business Development Manager / Sales Manager – Passive Fire Protection Essex / London Borders £Highly Comp. + Bens Company A small privately owned specialist contractor working within the construction industry that operate nationally throughout the UK. With an annual turnover of approximately £6m per annum the company has a wealth of experience within their field with a number of blue chip clients. They heavily invest back within the business and workforce and have now put together plans to grow the business substantially over the next twelve months. Business Development Manager / Sales Manager – Divisional Lead Due to internal movement within the business an experienced Fire Protection Business Development/Sales Manager is now required to join their team and head-up the division. This role will require you to source and identify and maximise project leads, price works, build on current and new relationships and liaise with the clients through projects to completion. This role can be part home based with office visit 1-2 days per week or purely office based. The current manager is currently in situ and a period of time can be provided for handover to the successful person in order for smooth handover and introduction. You will: * Have proven sales experience within the Fire Protection sector * Experience in winning new business * Able to identify and upsell with current customers * Able to price projects * Exceptional communication and negotiation skills * Polished client facing * Ability to prioritise workload, work independently or within a team * Able to visit customers and sites when needed * Be computer literate * Full UK Driver Licence * Stable work history This is an excellent opportunity for someone with relevant experience looking to build on their career within the fire protection sector.
