Job Title - Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor Location - CAT B fit out London based project then working work home for the rest of the week. Please note their office is based in Manchester so the ideal person will be from Manchester prepared to commute two days a week to London. Their office may be back open soon and you may be required to go to their office for meeting etc. The client Office fit out contractor. The project £14 million CAT A & CAT B office fit out. Based in London High end project. Form of contract Design and Build Duties Looking after sub-contractor accounts. Helping to Commercially look after a £14 million CAT B office fit out project. Managing cash flows / budgets and all financial information as per the companies policies and processes. Collaborate with departments across the business to improve cost effectiveness and ensure timely delivery of projects whilst providing cost advice on any aspect of the build as and when required. A key part of determining and agreeing site start programmes and timescales. Producing key status reports and updates on all KPIs relating to the Commercial function. Submitting and negotiating valuations / variations Reporting straight into to the Managing Quantity Surveyor. Submitting and negotiating final accounts Take accurate site measurements Attending progress meetings with the construction directors Contract Administration Drafting contract programs Generating detailed monthly project P&L reports Ordering and negotiating materials and plant Multi Trade Take Offs Submitting subcontract / main contract tenders Candidate requirements ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE CAT A & CAT B OFFICE FIT OUT EXPERIENCE All applicants must be Project or Senior Quantity Surveyor level. Listed building refurbishment might be useful. Detailed office fit out background.
