Land Manager

The client are a large housebuilder based in Southampton that specialise in the development of new build housing across the Southern Counties. Due to expansion they are currently looking for an additional Land Manager to join their business so they can expand their land bank further. Candidates must have at least 5 years experience working as a Land Manager for a residential developer, must have a strong knowledge of the local area around Southampton and must be based within an hour of Southampton. Due to the level of experience required the client have stated they would be looking to pay up to £60k + package. Responsibilities * Researching new business opportunities as part of a proactive approach to the identification and acquisition of land. * Appraising new land opportunities and the completion of planning, technical and legal due diligence. * Project managing the promotion of sites through the development and planning process. * Preparing representations on local plans. * Responsible for promoting schemes within agreed budgets. * Developing relationships with key external stakeholders.
