Pre-Construction Contracts Manager

Our client a family run civil engineering contractor who was formed in the early 90s requires a Contracts Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. There primary work is the construction of golf courses, earth moving contracting, reservoir and lake construction, sea defence works and bulk earthmoving. They have strong relationships with many tier two civil engineering contractors mainly across the East Anglian region. Their head office is in Essex. Reporting into the Managing Director, you will manage both selected key bids in Tender and in Preconstruction, liaising internally with the project team, and externally with the Client, Consultants and other Key Stake Holders – ultimately to ensure well considered bids and preconstruction services are delivered in a timely and professional manner, to the satisfaction of the end user
