Water Treatment / Flushing Engineer - Manchester

Due to recent contract wins this established water treatment/water hygiene company is now looking to recruit an experienced Water Treatment / Flushing Engineer based in and around the Manchester region. The successful candidate will have previous experience carrying out a variety of water treatment duties to a mixed portfolio of sites. Experience in flushing of water systems to BSRIA standard would be beneficial to the role. Applications from Liverpool, Bolton, Chester, and the surrounding areas will be considered. Due to the nature of the contracts extensive travel will be required from the successful candidate. Qualifications & experience: Must come from a strong educational, chemical and water treatment background. Experience as a water treatment engineer essential. Previous experience under-taking water system flushes to BSRIA standard would be beneficial. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Competent with Microsoft office package. Fully conversant with the water treatment industry regulations and procedures. Role: Carrying out pre-commissioning cleaning to BSRIA standards. Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers, showerheads, etc. Flushing and chemical dosing. Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing the results. Servicing of TMV's. Maintain a professional working relationship with clients. All aspects of preventative maintenance.
