Gas Engineer - Social Housing Repairs North Yorkshire (Leeds, Huddersfield, York, Hull, Scarborough, Whitby) Company Van and Fuel Card Provided £25,000 - £32,000 per annum Howells Contracts are recruiting for a leading social housing contractor to recruit Gas Engineers to carry out repairs and maintenance to social housing properties throughout North Yorkshire. The role will involve a variety of servicing and breakdown/repair works within properties, to be completed to a high standard with the minimum of supervision. You will carry out fault diagnosis ensuring any additional works required are communicated back to your Supervisor, leaving the resident confident and assured. You will take ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters. You will also operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas. Typical work will comprise of day to day repairs/maintenance, short duration service, renewal or refurbishment works to properties. For this role you must have: at least 3 years' domestic experience including breakdown experience CCN1; CENWAT; HTR1; CPA1; MET1; CKR1 (where applicable) UK driving licenceYou will be working for a modern, forward thinking business; that believe the strengths, skills and personalities of their people are the key to the group's success.
