Quantity Surveyor

We have an opportunity to be working for a smaller contractor in all aspects of the commercial management process around construction package works. This would incorporate estimating, cost control, contract administration and acting as contractor representative with clients on commercial matters. Based in Watford, the company is a family owned recruitment business with over 40 years expertise in rail and civil engineering sectors. The package works element of the business has grown organically in providing total work solutions to clients and increased workbook has led to the recruitment of this newly defined role. The role would suit somebody with MRICS qualification and a recognised qualification in a related subject. Proven experience of working as a QS in the construction/civil engineering sector would be required with knowledge of the full commercial lifecycle of projects. A highly organised, personable nature would suit this role as dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. A valid driving licence would be required for potential travel to client sites when required. We have a fair and comprehensive selection procedure.
