We have properties from Eastbourne to Southampton and operate zone working to reduce travel time What we’re looking for We are looking for a Carpenter with Multi-Trade skills and with confidence in plastering, to join our busy Responsive Repairs team. On average you will complete 4 - 8 jobs per day which could be a combination of; replacement fire doors; boxing in after gas installs; tiling; vinyl sheet flooring; dry lining; plastering; fitting double glazed units; replacing window handles; window hinges; multi-point door locks. In addition to carrying out day to day repairs you will also occasionally be involved in ongoing planned works as required by the business. It is essential that you are confident in fitting fire doors as a one-person job. The heavy lifting of fire doors will be involved. Ideally, you will have worked in a similar role before, within a housing association or local authority, however this is not essential. You will have experience working in customers’ homes, have excellent customer service skills, be competent using IT and be able to consistently follow department processes.
