Job Description

Planet Forward have recently been engaged by an established provider of testing, inspection and compliance services to secure an Acoustics & Vibration Consultant to join them in Uxbridge on a permanent basis. About the role: As an Acoustic and Vibration Consultant your job will be to assess the impact of noise and vibration generated during construction activities in the course of major Infrastructure development. This will be an office based role with some travel and will offer a company vehicle as part of the package. Duties & Responsibilities: * To access noise & vibration impacts generates during construction activities. * To liaise with key stakeholders and submit reporting information and * To submit applications that will be used to help our clients respond effectively to their development or operating permits. * To develop section 61 applications, statements of intent and noise modelling * You will also engage with Environmental Health Officers and Principle Clients. Key Skills: * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Excellent Project Management skills * Excellent interpersonal skills. * A full member of the Institute of Acoustics * The ability to self-manage workload & deadlines. * Be a dynamic motivated professional with the ability to work alone or as part of a team * A full driving license. * Candidates with demonstrable experience of nuisance dust generated during construction will be at a distinct advantage.
