Project Manager - Construction / Site Management Location: Kent and Sussex Region Salary: £42,000 per annum Contract: Full time, Permanent We are Gov Facility Service Ltd, a non-profit company owned entirely by the Ministry of Justice, supplying facilities management services to 50 prisons over the South and East of the UK with an employee count of 1400. We are seeking a Project Manager to act as the operational lead and focal point for the Kent and Sussex Region. You will work with the Senior Project Manager, to manage the successful delivery of individual or programmes of projects within the region and cluster of sites. You will be an exceptional Project Manager at the top of your game, with at least 2 years previous experience in a similar role. Strong stakeholder management and understanding the customers' needs is crucial for the success of this role. You must be able to demonstrate the following Qualifications and Experience: * Experienced in managing low value, high volume minor work projects (Essential) * Experiencing in communicating with and managing remote workers (Essential) * Manage projects from concept stage through to completion and handover * The ability to discuss with contractors on tender the full requirements and understand and deal with their comments (Essential) * Hands on knowledge of small building sites and regulations (Desirable) * Solid construction background With good understanding of all trades And methods (Desirable) * Working in complex and/or high security environments (Desirable) If this sounds like the perfect role for you and you'd like to find out more then please apply today and we'll be in touch.
