Job Description

This career opportunity will enable the successful candidate to combine their Construction Plant Engineering skills and Operational Workshop Management experience. Reporting to the Operations Director, the Regional Service Manager will visit all depot locations, nationally. Therefore, flexibility to travel to depots/workshops with overnight stays during the week will be a regular requirement. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a Skilled Plant engineer/Fitter who has progressed to supervisory role and now looking for a step up in their career. Key responsibilities include:- Support and guidance to Depot and Workshop managers. Provide training to staff. Risk Assessments Accident investigations Asset Management Action and improvement plans Experience and qualifications required: Inspirational management skills Engineering qualification – minimum NVQ Level 3 in Plant Engineering or Equivalent Internal Quality and Environmental auditing Experience in carrying out risk assessments Intermediate IT skills (to include MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access) Full car licence
