Job Description

Established 21 years, Malone Group is an established engineering and safety services company specialising in delivering complex projects for companies in the food & beverage, pharmaceutical and utilities sectors. The EHS Advisor will be responsible for providing support to the EHS Manager, supporting our customer’s projects Reports to: EHS Manager Key relationships: EHS Advisors, MD, Operations Manager Responsibilities · Delivering best in class safety management services for our customers · Assisting the EHS manager in delivering PSCS and PSDP services · On site coordination of the PSCS role for various projects across Ireland. This will involve: o Attending site meetings o Developing method statements and risk assessments o Managing daily permits to work o Managing daily safe plan of actions o Proactive monitoring of safety performance on site o Pre-qualification of contractors o Implementing and monitoring site safety management system o Coordinating training · Pre-qualification of contractors · Implementing the Malone Group quality, safety, and business systems · Weekly reporting to the EHS manager on project progress, key safety KPI’s and customer feedback · Delivery of operational safety management systems and coordination of safety engineering projects with the Malone Group team. Skills/Experience Required · 2-5 years’ previous experience in a similar role ideally within a fast paced multi-disciplinary environment · Experience working in the Food and Beverage, Drinks and/or Pharma industry · Health & Safety Qualification (Minimum level 7), in addition Manual Handling Instructor training, VDU Assessor Training & First Aid would be an advantage · Experience in the development, implementation & auditing of Safe T Cert & OSHAS 18001 systems would be an advantage · Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite & phone based applications · The ability to work independently without direct supervision – planning, organising and prioritising own daily work routine to meet deadlines. · Strong organisation, attention to detail and practical problem solving skills. · Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills at all levels. · Full clean EU Driver’s license (in excess of 2 years full licence)
