Site Manager, Barnet, residential new build

My client, a medium sized developer are seeking a Site Manager for their residential new build development in Barnet, North London. The role will naturally be site based and they will be the production lead on the project. The project is a 50 unit residential apartment development with commercial space in the ground floor. The project is currently at piling stage and the project is expected to last arounf 18 months. It will have a build cost of approximately £15m They are seeking a Site Manager who will be stand alone and will report directly to the Contracts Manager who will be overseeing the project.. With this in mind a candidate from a small to medium sized company who has worked in a similar manner will be the ideal candidate. A Site Manager with a good level of experience will also be a good fit. This will be a long term role as it will involve moving on to future projects after the current one with an extensive amount of work in the pipeline moving forward. They have a constant steady flow of work coming in. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Site Manager seeking to advance their career in an ever expanding business. The Site Manager will be delivery and action focused and be able to identify risks and deliver effective solutions with minimal supervision to ensure delivery on-time in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Desired attributes will include good problem solving, communication and analytical skills in addition to project management and a high level of computer literacy will be required. A good knowledge of the planning process and building regulations whilst maximising performance from sub contractors and trades will be essential.
