Sub Agent – earth works

Sub Agent – earth works Vital Rail has an exciting opportunity for a sub agent to join our team on the East Leeds Orbital Route. One of Vitals highly established Highway clients are replacing a road in West Yorkshire As part of the team the Sub Agent would lead the Earthworks package and be responsible for the management and control of the Section Engineers and Engineers as well as coordinating and managing the Earthworks Sub Contractor. The day to day activities will include * Review of Method statements and Risk Assessments and ensure safe systems of work are in place * Guide and instruct Section Engineers and Engineers in technical requirements and techniques * Coordination of earthwork activities with other activities on the project including Sub contractors and Material testing and procurement. * Programme and progress the works to be able to provide reports and graphs to demonstrate productivity * Liaison and Coordination with City Council and our Designers. The successful candidate will require the following * Driving License * CSCS Card. SMSTS or SSSTS qualified * Excellent communication skills * Willingness to embrace innovation * IT skills
