Project / Contracts Manager

PM/CM job for an east Lancashire based contractor who specialise in refurbishment projects from £30k - £2m, Your new company You will join an East Lancashire based SME who focus on refurbishment projects ranges from £30k - £2m. They provide internal and external finishing systems across education, healthcare, commercial and retail sectors. Whilst they have now moved into completing some small projects themselves as main contractor, the bulk of their work is within Plastering, Dry-Lining, Rendering and External Wall Insulation schemes. Your new role This role has been created due to expansion and an increase number of projects. Due to this the contractor are now looking for a Senior Projects / Contracts manager to join the Construction Team. As well as providing leadership and motivation to the site teams, and implementing construction processes you will be responsible for: Management of live contracts - from start to finish Working alongside the commercial team to help control progress on site as well as budgets liaison with end clients Management of Health & Safety on site Looking for areas of improvement in process on site and within office Planning for forthcoming contracts - labour, plant, material resources, pre-start visits etc Projects ranging £30,000 - £2m You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Directors of the business What you'll need to succeed You will require some knowledge or experience of plastering, drylining, partitioning and internal rendering packages, as well as holding current CSCS Card, SMSTS and a CV which details relevant experience to show the above.
