Quantity Surveyor

Are you an experienced QS with a strong background in residential new build looking for a new role with a reputable national builder? If so, then you're in luck. One of the UK's most renowned house builders are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to work out of their regional head office in Leeds. They work primarily in the spec housing market and are looking to recruit due to natural progression and growth. The Role: Working out of Leeds you will be responsible for projects covering West Yorkshire with one site in particular located in Bradford. The client are a process driven business with a reputation for rewarding and promoting from within. Ideally they would like to recruit a Senior QS but will be open to reviewing candidates experienced enough to take the step up. You will not just be commercially responsible for new build housing sites but will also be called upon to help develop and train more junior members of the commercial team. The Person: As above you will be experienced in the housing market and looking to develop your career with a reputable main contractor who can offer stability and a structured career development plan. You must be comfortable taking commercial autonomy for up to 3 projects with varying units from 30 to 100+. It will also be a huge advantage if you have previous management experience and have helped more junior coleagues to learn and develop.
