CAD Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Technician within our Technical Department in Leeds (LS9). Job Description: The Technical Engineer produces high quality, accurate and useable technical drawings using a combination of floorplans, elevations and sections to be submitted to architects, engineers and subcontractors for approval. Keeping the client updated continually and working with them to ensure the product meets their exact project requirements. This position reports to the Technical Manager and expected to work closely with production, sales and the rest of the department. Projects include commercial, industrial residential buildings, including Iconic buildings such as football stadiums, national event centres and educational institutes. The ideal candidate: * Able to demonstrate a knowledge of construction-related CAD software (essential AutoCAD) * Experience within the construction sector is preferrable * CAD / Auto Cad or Related Qualifications are ideal but not essential * Self-motivated and quick thinking * Have excellent communication skills What's in it for you? * Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (with 1 hour lunch) * Salary negotiable depending on experience: OTE of up to £32,000 gross per annum * 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays increasing to 25 days with service * Healthcare Plan after 12 months service * On-site Gym * Modern Facilities * Great Transport Links * Continual Development This is an ideal opportunity for an engineering or construction professional to join an expanding company that has been trading for over thirty years.
