Job Description

We have a new Freelance Assistant Site Manager role available in Peterborough. Are you available for work on an exciting, long-term project? Position: Assistant Site Manager Location: Peterborough Contract Type: Freelance Duration: Approx. 18 months initially Rate: £180 - £200 per day (Negotiable depending on experience) Contact: Shane Austin at the Welwyn Garden City Branch - (phone number removed) The Project: A new build commercial/retail project. Steel Frame build, demolition, plus full fit out. Project value circa £35mil The Role: Our client is looking for an assistant site manager for the remainder of the project. The main duties will include: Providing clear direction to the on-site contraction team Supporting the Site Manager and project team with day to day tasks Monitoring and maintaining high health and safety standards Producing reports accurately and on time Ensuring high quality is maintained through every aspect of the project Ensuring subcontractors operate in line with programme and quality expectations About you: Previous experience in a similar setting essential Correct CITB and First Aid Qualifications Be able to control sub-contract packages High level of IT literacy Relevant CSCS card SMSTS First Aid What you will get in return: A competitive rate Excellent experience with a well known regional contractor A dedicated consultant to guide you through your job search Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
