Project Manager – Joinery & Fit-Out Packages London / Surrey £65k-£85k Company A family owned contractor established for over thirty years delivering carpentry and fit-out services to a range of clients with values ranging to £7.5m. Typical projects include; governmental, residential, commercial, health, retail, education and airports. They work with some of the leading names in construction and have an excellent reputation for projects completed. Project Manager An experienced Project Manager is now required with relevant Fit-Out and Joinery experience to join their team and oversee a number of high end residential and large commercial projects throughout London and the South East regions. You will be commercially aware and provide leadership to the construction team delivering scope of work within a major package or project to define cost, time and quality requirements. You will be most likely be educated to at least undergraduate degree level holding a professional qualification and/or having time served in a role of a comparable level. Duties include: * To provide a single point of contact for the client in relation to project activities and represent the company's interests with the clients. * To ensure the project team, roles skills and behaviour are aligned with Company's objectives and project requirements. * To create, develop and control an accurate project programme. * To issue a detailed monthly progress report to the client. * To ensure that the client project requirements are understood and communicated to all members of the team. * To deliver the project within authorised budget, optimising cost and quality parameters. * To ensure production controls are in place for monitoring, reporting and improving performance. * To communicate company policies, Quality, H&S and Environmental to all members of the project team. * To provide regular feedback of production analysis to the Operations Director. * To ensure compliance with the Quality and Management Systems. You will: * Have experience as Project Manager of three years plus within Joinery and Fit-Out sector * SMSTS and CSCS * Be commercially and contractually aware * Excellent leadership skills and able to motivate and manage direct employees and sub-contractors * Familiarity with construction/project management software * Excellent communication and negotiation skills, polished client facing * Stable work history This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with proven skills and experience within the joinery and fit-out sectors to join a family owned business working on a variety of desirable projects within the high end residential and commercial sectors.
