About the role They now have an opportunity for 2 Electricians to join their Trades Team on a full time permanent basis. You will be responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys and measurements efficiently and economically in accordance with current working practices and all related health and safety legislation and good practice; and ensure properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard. Please note that if you are successful in this role, they will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following the offer. About you You must have a minimum of level 3 NVQ in electrical installation and will be qualified to City & Guilds standard (17th Edition). Working knowledge of current 17th IEE regulations is also required. It is essential that you have technical skills to carry out work on electrical systems, with experience of domestic refurbishment and maintenance repairs and are to ensure the safe and proper use of all mechanical and non-mechanical plant and equipment under their direct control. You will have the ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own workload to achieve deadlines and also be able to effectively use hand-held electronic devices. You must be able to undertake training and development activities as instructed and have the ability to work at heights from ladders or scaffolding, lifting platforms and cherry pickers.
