Monday – Friday 07.00am-4.00pm Salary: Min wage - £10.50 Depending on knowledge and experience Contract: Permanent Qualifications: * Full UK clean Driving Licence Requirements: We are seeking a well organised individual to take care of and maintain on yard, plant and vehicles. The individual will be responsible for signing materials, plant and equipment in and out to the operatives and keeping track of where the items are. Ensuring the yard is kept clean and tidy and if the candidate is able to - maintain and repair equipment such as stihl saws, wackers and breakers. * Applicants MUST be over 18 years of age due to insurance requirements * Highly Organised * Physically fit - the role involves moving and handling heavy plant – such as Wacker plates and Breakers * Excellent Communication skills-both verbal and written * Working at heights * Computer literate * Able to read and write * Experience of working outside * Flexibility regarding shift patterns or tasks allocated Desirable: * CSCS Card * Fork Lift * Qualification in Plant and or vehicle maintenance * Driving Licence for vehicles over 3.5 tonne Skills & Abilities * Punctual and reliable * Practical ability for handling tools and machinery * A responsible attitude towards health and safety * The ability to follow instructions * Organised Job: Sourcing Materials and Equipment for contracts and negotiating with suppliers to archive the best prices General Housekeeping of the stores and Yard Stores – you will be responsible for organising and tidying the stores, receiving and issuing materials to staff and ensuring materials are logged out on our computer systems. Also stock control, stock taking and checking deliveries. Vehicle maintenance and repairs (depending on qualifications) Plant maintenance and repairs Issuing and receiving equipment to staff and keeping record up to date Listing items for sale on eBay/website Manage waste Delivering items to site Loading/unloading vehicles Organising materials and equipment for site Cleaning Vehicles
