Flat Roofing Buyer A well-established Roofing business is looking for an experienced Buyer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to head up the buying function for the business. Your new role You will develop, maintain and review the materials and plant supply chain and engage in regular communication to keep abreast of market conditions. You will source materials and negotiate discounts to ensure best value is obtained for the business. You will produce Key Performance Indicator reports on purchasing performance within the Region for the Commercial Manager at the required intervals. You will maintain a database of material costs for the standard house-type range, and will attend project and company related meetings as required. You will produce cost analysis and ensure costing forecasts are adhered to, raising purchase orders, monitoring suppliers and ensuring performance targets are met and being the procurement lead on construction projects.
