Job Description

General Foreman (M&E background required) £250-£300 per day Helensburgh My client are a specialist contractor working in the water and environmental sector at a secure site looking for a General Foreman to join the team. The candidates MUST be security cleared or have an active security clearance. This opportunity is available due to their recent expansion and success winning multiple projects related to the clients needs and scope of the project. You will be responsible for supervising a multidisciplinary site of Mechanical, Electrical and Civils site staff and subcontractors on the location. You will ensure health & Safety is maintained to the highest standard at all times as well as ensuring the site operations are running as effectively as possible. Deliverables: ·Ensure the specified projects deliver the engineering requirements, to the agreed standards and specifications ·Ensuring Health & Safety is kept at the highest possible standard ·Supervising of works on site ·Resolving construction related problems ·Conducting site inductions & tool box talks ·Ensuring that client relationships are maintained and developed ·Developing strong relationships ·Maintaining environmental control measures ·Hitting KPI's and ensuring compliance to company and client procedures ·Ensure the outputs required from the supply chain are identified and managed ·Understanding CDM regulations including demolition, temporary works, documentation etc. ·Managing site teams. ·Showing a competency of lifting activities including craneage and confined space entries. ·Producing RAMS documents within agreed time-scales. Skills and Qualifications: ·Water Industry knowledge, ideally on both clean and waste water ·Knowledge of ICA, Electrical, Mechanical and Civil engineering ·CSCS Card ·Minimum SSSTS supervisory ticket ·Safety Awareness Training ·Security checked / Security clearance is as MUST. Desirable ·Appointed Person First Aid Trained ·Confined spaces trained ·EUSR trained
