Estimator/ Buyer

Estimator & Buyer We are a long established carpentry & joinery specialist sub-contractor, with over 45 years’ experience and a proven track record in both first & second fix carpentry, fit-out and purpose made joinery. We are based in Bagshot, Surrey and are currently seeking to recruit an Estimator to join our team. The likely candidate will either come from or have experience in both 1st & 2nd fix carpentry & joinery. The successful applicant will be based at our office in Surrey, but with occasional site travel to projects. Responsibilities will include: * Assist with the estimating team where required on new tenders. * Compiling take offs * Price variations and assess the value of subcontract values. * Work in close partnership with Project Teams. * Pursuing main contractors for new tenders * Buying and procuring of materials Job hoppers and freelancers will not be considered. The correct candidate will be from a respectable and stable working background of at least 2 years held within a previous carpentry and joinery main contractor.
