CDM Consultant / Principal Designer

CDM Consultant / Principal Designer Due to an increase in workload this multi-disciplinary consultancy is currently looking to appoint a CDM Consultant / Principal Designer based in their Kent office. The organisation has been in operation for over 40 years and offers a wide range of services including Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Architecture and CDM services. They have become a market leading specialist in the Public Sector, competing against some of the largest firms in the UK. Duties: * You will be directly supporting the CDM Manager in providing CDM Consultant Services to a wide and varied client base. * You will be responsible for planning, managing and monitoring Health & Safety in the pre-construction phase and designing out risks. * You will be working on a wide range of projects from Demolition to large scale New Build / Regeneration projects. Candidate requirements: * You will be a Certified Member of the Association for Project Safety (CMaPS) or hold a NEBOSH construction certificate. * You will be from Construction / Design background with experience in a CDM 2015 and Principal Designer role. * You will have a good understanding of the design process and be able to design out risks. * You will have experience working on a wide range of projects.
