Technical Project Manager – Grade 9
Main Purpose of the Job
The role will manage a small team of electrical engineers responsible for the delivery of new installation, maintenance and commissioning of fire and intruder alarms and periodic electrical inspections across the authority.
The role will be able to undertake the design, specification and project management of Electrical projects in a lead or support role depending on project complexity or scale.
Management of projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and to quality expectations.
The role will proactively collaborate with other members of the 24/7 team, and across the Council’s other Design and Construction disciplines, working within well-defined functional objectives yet questioning and challenging Council practices and procedures based on improvements in technology, legislation or improved efficiences.
Essential Requirements:
• Professionally qualified with relevant degree (or equivalent), plus substantial experience OR substantial vocational experience at a demonstrably professional level
• Member of a Professional Institute such as CIBSIE, working towards professional registration
• Member of a professional Institute

Rate: £19.11 - £23.81 (LTD/PAYE)
