Your new company
A highly successful and well established building company is now recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their rapidly growing Commercial Team. Based in Cookstown, our client provides both private and public contract services across Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales. Their project experience covers the key sectors including; Private & Commercial, Housing, Health, Community & Leisure, Aviation and Education. Due to continued success and a further increase in company growth a position is now available for a Quantity Surveyor.

Your new role
Based in head office, Cookstown, you will report to the Director and work closely with the Operational Team to deliver and manage a variety of projects up to a value of £5 million. You will be predominantly office based in County Tyrone and required to travel to site in NI or ROI. You will manage all aspects of a project from inception to final accounts

What you'll need to succeed
You will be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, commercially and contractually astute and a minimum of 4 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role. You should have excellent communication skills as you will be expected to interact with the Operational Team and subcontractors on a regular basis. Additionally, you must be IT proficient and preferably demonstrate experience in the use of construction software packages. Strong negotiation skills and effective time management will be essential for the role.
