Quantity Surveyor (Highways and Groundworks)

Our client is a successful business working within the groundworks, highways sector specialise in construction and reinstatement projects for transport network systems, in Greater London and all surrounding areas including, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Kent and Surrey. They work across a diverse range of sectors including site remediation and reclamation, architectural and structural design and consultancy, and hard landscaping for commercial and public spaces with projects ranging in value from £100k to £10m. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

ROLE

They require an experienced Quantity Surveyor who will take full commercial control over their own portfolio of work. You need to form a strong working relationship with the Project Management Teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and profit targets are achieved.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

·Strong background in Groundworks, Civil Engineering mainly Highways

·Minimum of 5 years ideally 8 years.

· Demonstrable experience of working with a specialist and established contractor in these fields.

·Be able to work under your own initiative and direction.

·Strong eye for detail and the ability to drive profit.

·Ideally degree qualified.
