Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a global building materials manufacturer based in London.

Due to a phase of development and growth they are looking to recruit an experienced Factory / Production coordinator to oversee all works in the Factory and small site works.

They specialise in all commercial and residential stonework projects delivered to a high spec. The successful candidate will report directly into the Managing Director. As part of your duties you will oversee and be responsible for safety, Quality, profitability and performance KPI’s within the factory.

Amongst the responsibilities listed below, you duties will include the supervision of factory team, as well as the scheduling of all projects/workloads, planning workshop personnel to ensure factory output is maintained against the production plan. Manage material stock, yard and fleet of vans.

Main responsibilities are:
You will coordinate between a team of Aqua Masons, Stone masons, Fixers, site delivery drivers etc.
You must be able to oversee all areas of production and material stock control
The Factory / Production Co-ordinator will take the lead and drive standards of quality.
Daily quality inspections and attention to detail is imperative.
You musty have had previous experience in planning, organising and measuring labour and material requirements
Work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure projects and materials are delivered on time and to the correct quality standard to site.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience:
To be qualified for this position, you must have/be:
A good working experience of the various types of stone and its workability
Experience in construction industry
Good ability to read and interpret architectural drawings & proficient in Microsoft Excel
Committed to implementing and adhering the companies systems and procedures
Able to introduce change and implement high standards and drive continuous improvement.
Flexible and committed to achieving targets by working with and through a team
Minimum 3 year experience in organizing stone manufacturing
Very well-organized and work well under high pressure

Working hours for this role: Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm
Notice period : 1 month after trial period.
