Job Description
Our progressive and expanding client is looking to recruit an experienced, suitably qualified individual to oversee their multiple Quarry sites based in the North East. The group supplies Aggregate, Blockstone, Cut Stone, Sand and Ready Mix Concrete into a broad range of major customers.
The incumbent will ensure a safe and efficient management and operation. The postholder will need to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the following:
Blasting operations, crushing and screening.
Maintenance activities
The ability to effectively plan and organize multiple locations.
The experience of being strong leader and communicator, capable of generating a strong team ethic within the quarries and across functions within the Group.
