Quantity Surveyor – Brentwood

My client was first established in the 60’s as a leading natural stone specialist. They maintained steady growth, built upon our reputation for high quality materials and installation through dependable performance.

The company today, has expanded in to a truly multi-disciplined, innovative, construction solutions provider, which undertakes works in many areas of the construction process ranging from raised flooring through to Precast Concrete cladding panels.

Job Title:                         Quantity Surveyor

Remuneration:                £50-55k

Location:                        Head Office – Brentwood

Hours:                            08h30 to 17h30

 Main Responsibilities:

1. Commercial administration of contracts.
2. Preparation of monthly valuations and variations. 

  Essential Desirable Knowledge

 ·         Knowledge of facade and high-end fit out

 ·         Basic knowledge of contracts

·         IT Literate to intermediate level

Relevant Qualification Skills/Experience 10 yrs. QS experience, trade / subcontractor background

 Experience within the stone industry Attitude/Behaviour ·         Professional

 ·         Able to self-manage

·         Organised

·         Personable

·         Flexible approach
