Estimator – Dartford, Kent (Fencing/Groundworks)

Do you have at least two years of estimating or surveying experience?

Have you worked as an estimator or surveyor for a subcontractor?

Are you experienced with pricing up fencing jobs?

Then you may be exactly who my client is looking for.

Due to increased growth and a huge demand of their services my client (a commercial fencing contractor) is seeking an estimator to join their team.

Ideally you will have around two years of experience and will have worked for a fencing subcontractor, however, we will be happy to speak to estimators from other sectors or even enthusiastic trainees.

We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of construction, can read drawings and knowledge of fencing types.

You will need to have excellent communication and presentation skills, to provide concise and detailed handover of successful bids to our operations department. A good working knowledge of Word & Excel are essential. Sales, business development skills would be highly advantageous.

They specialise in the installation of temporary and permanent fencing of all types, principally in the education and industrial sectors for main contractors and developers alike, with projects ranging in value up to £500,000.

Salary and package is competitive and based on experience.
