GANGER / CIVILS SUPERVISOR – Working for a sub contractor. Project comprises of civils works You may be Drug and Alcohol tested prior to starting and a medical may be required should you be required to drive plant machinery. SALARY £18-22.00 per hour dependant upon experience DURATION & HOURS Approx 2 montsh - 45-50 hrs per week JOB OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES To ensure that the workers at a construction site are following correct work procedures and safety precautions. You will be expected to assess job priorities and assign workers accordingly. To make sure that work is on schedule and hold meetings both with the construction operatives and management to give feedback on project progression Other responsibilities may include: • Attending daily briefings • Overseeing site operations • Supervising sub contractors and other labour workers • Maintaining health and safety records • Managing plant and labour returns • Ordering and following up on site material deliveries KEY REQUIREMENTS SMSTS or SSSTS or CSCS Gold Card HSG47 You must be able to provide a minimum of 2 recent references
