Assistant/Trainee Estimator

Assistant/Trainee Estimator Our client is one of the most advanced steelwork manufacturers in Great Britain – a specialist in the provision of steel frames for buildings. The Assistant/Trainee Estimator role will be working as part of the existing Estimating team to assist with their typical duties - responding to new enquiries, reading and measuring drawings for pricing and tender purposes. Full training will be given where necessary. You may be just be numerate, IT savvy with good attention to detail and some experience of technical drawings (and willing to learn) or you be all these things and possess several years experience working as part of a steel fabrications team. All individuals somewhere on this scale will be considered. Core skills: Numeracy IT - excel, word etc Good communication skill Enthusiasm This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and become part of a respected, growing, south-west based company that operates nationally and is a leader in its field. The successful candidates will be required to start sometime between now and the end of February 2017. Salary: £18-30k dependent on experience + bonus.
