About Emerton Roofing (Western) Limited
Emerton Roofing (Western) Limited is a fourth-generation family roofing business based in Nantwich, Cheshire. Established over 100 years ago, we have built a national reputation for delivering high-quality roofing work, particularly on traditional and heritage buildings.
Our expertise includes natural slating, clay and concrete tiling, leadwork, flat roofing and the restoration of historic roof coverings. We also operate our own scaffolding division, allowing us to deliver projects efficiently without relying on third-party contractors.
While we are proud of our heritage and reputation, we are equally proud of the people who make the business what it is today. Many of our employees have been with us for over 10 years, with several having dedicated more than 25 years to the company. We believe this reflects the supportive, respectful and stable working environment we've created over generations.
Unlike many roofing companies, we do not undertake repetitive new-build site work. Instead, our craftsmen work on a wide variety of residential renovations, period properties, estate buildings and heritage projects throughout Cheshire and the surrounding counties. Every project presents its own challenges and opportunities to produce work of the highest standard.
As a family business, we aim to remove the day-to-day pressures that often distract tradespeople from their craft. We organise the quotations, customer communication, materials, transport and scheduling, allowing our roofers to focus on what they do best—producing quality workmanship as part of a close-knit and experienced team.
If you take genuine pride in your work, value craftsmanship and are looking for a long-term career with a respected family business, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
