This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor with proven experience working for a housebuilder who is looking to play a key role in managing costs and maximising project profitability from inception through to final account. Key Responsibilities Managing all commercial aspects of multiple new-build residential developments. Preparing and managing budgets, cost plans, and forecasts. Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers. Preparing tender documentation and carrying out tender analysis. Negotiating subcontract agreements and managing subcontractor accounts. Monitoring project costs, valuations, variations, and cash flow. Producing monthly cost/value reconciliation reports. Managing payments, final accounts, and commercial reporting. Working closely with site, technical, and land teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved. Identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a house builder. Strong understanding of new-build residential construction processes.
