They provide a range of top-class products to clients in a wide range of sectors across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Health and Safety Manager to be based at their Tamworth office. The main duties of the role are: Maintaining and monitoring the businesses ISO standards: ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation. Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organisation, and provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees. Lead the development and review of risk assessments and method statements. Identify workplace hazards and implement suitable control measures. Develop and deliver health and safety training programmes. Support managers in fulfilling their health and safety responsibilities. Monitor key health and safety performance indicators. Review contractor terms and conditions, highlighting any potential concerns to senior management. Assess contractor competence. Monitor contractor compliance with site safety requirements. Lead internal health and safety audits. Support external audits and inspections. The ideal candidate will possess: Significant experience managing Health and Safety Experience developing and implementing health and safety management systems. Experience of maintaining ISO standards. Experience carrying out audits and workplace inspections. Experience delivering health and safety training. Experience interpreting and applying UK health and safety legislation. Experience conducting incident investigations. NEBOSH National Diploma (or equivalent Level 6 Health and Safety qualification).
