This is a full time, permanent position. The role covers multiple locations within a selected region in your base location, so you will be provided with a Company van and plant to carry out your day-to-day duties. There is also a door-to-door payment system along with an attractive overtime package, personal use of company vans and paid rest time following any night works. In this role, you will be required to carry out works on a variety of commercial sites: * To assemble, install, test, and maintain Gas / HVAC equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures * Complete all planned and reactive maintenance works * Competently assess, diagnose, and repair faults * Disposal of any F-Gas in accordance with latest regulations * Periodic testing This list is not exhaustive. We have an opening for an Electrical qualified maintenance engineer within the Edinburgh or surrounding areas. The role predominantly requires you to carry out electrical reactive and planned works on a variety of commercial sites mainly within the retail sector. You will be required to competently assess and repair electrical faults, carry out minor installations as well as carry out routine planned maintenance (including periodic testing). The successful candidate will be required to work within a designated radius of their home and must be able to work alone as well as supporting colleagues in your area when required. Candidates are required to hold a valid driving licence and hold the relevant electrical qualifications to be deemed competent within the electrical field. Applicants with experience of carrying out electrical maintenance works within large retail units will hold a distinct advantage in the sifting process. Due to the requirements of the business to log works with both the clients internal systems and our own in-house systems, applicants must be comfortable in using a tablet to receive and send E-mails as well as using other applications installed on the system (full training will be provided) . The successful candidate will be required to join the on-call rota as well as working occasional nights as and when required by client demand. We are looking for an experienced Plumbers Mate to join ourProjects team, assiting and carrying out installation works under supervision across a wide range of commercial clients within the retail and process sectors. The role will require the successful applicant to be able to work within a part of a team of engineers on install projects ranging between £12k to £1M. The succesful candidate will be required to work away from home for long periods as well as working unsociable hours when required, this can include working on Sundays for some of our larger retail clients. In exchange, we offer a competitive salary with overtime for those that want it, as well as developmental opportunities to further yourself within your own field or expand into other disciplines. We have a position open for an installation Plumber within our Projects Dept. The role will primarily involve carrying out mechanical installation projects across a wide range of well-known commercial/retail clients. These works range from minor installs to large projects over an extended period of time. As we are a nationwide Company, some of these works may be require the successful candidate to work away from home and on occasion working nights and/or weekends where the job requires it. The successful candidate will ideally be a fully qualified plumber, experienced in working within a commercial environment and have experience of working on commercial installs. Additional payments are provided to engineers who are able to manage project sites with support from the Project Manager. Candidates with experience in running site will have distinct advantage in the sifting stages. If you are successful for the role you will be provided with a van, mobile phone and tablet. You will also be provided with suitable plant to carry out the required tasks such as drills, ladders etc. This is a full-time role on a permanent basis.
