Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced Contract Manager required to work on retail refurbishments projects The successful candidate must be computer literate and able to undertake the following tasks:- * Manage and update a workload tracker * Attend site scoping meetings * Undertake site surveys * Be accountable for full site management from site set up through to completion * Preconstruction set up of projects including the co-ordination of consultants and suppliers * Compiling site safety files, CPHSPs and RAMs * Completing material requisitions / Coordinating trades / Arranging Transport * Undertake regular site visits * Weekly reporting against programme, quality and cost including H&S

Key Responsibilities As part of this role you will interpret project contractual and statutory requirements and obligations through both the pre-construction and construction phases of projects. The role holder will be responsible for advising on overall compliance in matters of Health, Safety and Wellbeing on site in accordance with Company policy, ISO standards and relevant statutory provisions. You will maintain core areas of expertise and impart knowledge to aid the development, training and mentoring of others as well as delivering Health & Safety induction programmes for new employees or contractors working on site; as well as refresher training and advising the management team in respect to SHEQ. The role requires updating and improving company Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and documentation, Producing Construction Health and Safety Plans and associated supporting documentation, maintain records, registers and data as required. Part of the role involves advising / assisting Site Management in drafting and communicating Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS), ensuring they are completed in a timely manner The role holder will support the investigation of accidents, incidents and near miss events to identify and share lessons learned. As part of the role you may be required to chair safety meetings, both with the workforce and supply chain. Key Skills and Requirements You will be a seasoned, highly experienced and qualified Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental professional with extensive knowledge of managing health and safety within the construction industry with a proven record of achieving key results. As a Health and Safety Manager you will have deep technical knowledge of health and safety legislation and keep up to date with legislative changes, be NEBOSH certified, a Member of IOSH and hold a Relevant CSCS Card. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal to deliver key safety messages, have good problem-solving skills and strong Microsoft office skills in particular Excel, You will be self-motivated, flexible, with the ability to work under pressure accurately on an independent basis always giving attention to detail. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and work ethic with the ability to develop ongoing relationships

Key Responsibilities Duties include providing general administration assistance to site teams including updating and issuing health and safety paperwork such as assisting with completion of site safety files, construction phase plans and RAMS. The role involves assisting with formatting PowerPoint presentations and site emergency and logistics plans. The role holder will obtain and review asbestos reports for upcoming projects as well as archiving health and safety documentation. As part of the role you will have administration and coordination duties such as collating and scanning site documents and updating relevant trackers, coordinating inspection records associated with company premises including collation of all supporting documentation and evidence You will be responsible for monitoring the company training matrix ensuring that it is kept updated in a timely manner. Key Skills and Requirements As a Health and Safety Project Support you will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, strong Microsoft office skills, be self-motivated, flexible, with the ability to work accurately on an independent basis always giving attention to detail.
