You’ll be working in our growing East Midlands Office providing strategic advice to our clients on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects including working closely with Orsted, who are developing the UK largest offshore wind farm and well as supporting the growth of the office on framework contracts for electricity, gas and water clients throughout the East Midlands and North East.
You’ll be working on exciting projects from feasibility through to project completion, working with a growing team on project deliverables covering land acquisitions, valuations, compulsory purchase, development consent orders as well as managing and advising on various land and reinstatement matters for projects in construction.
These are exciting times for our East Midlands office and you’ll be instrumental in developing client relationships, networking and supporting the ongoing growth of our business.

We are working with a Chartered Building Surveyors and Property Consultants, based in the heart of London. With the growing success, they now looking for a building surveyor to join our team.
The approach draws on there rich heritage & experience, whilst embracing modern methods and new technologies. We provide a range of consultancy services such as Project Management, Party Wall, Acquisition Surveys & Technical Diligence.
They offer a straightforward solutions-based approach to projects. We enable our clients to overcome obstacles, unlock projects and add value.
Responsibilities:
The role will include work in the following areas,
• Schedules of Condition
• Contract Administration and Project Management of schemes both in the public and
private sectors.
• Design – understanding of AutoCAD is beneficial
• Planning and building control applications
• Party Wall
• Planned Preventative Maintenance reports.
• Defect diagnosis reports
• Schedules of Condition
Skills:
• Technical knowledge of planning, construction and design
• Strong IT literacy with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to deal with people and integrate into the team
• Knowledge of Health and Safety matters.
• Self-motivation, responsibility and a curiosity to learn.
Entry:
• Will require an RICS BSc accredited or MSc in Building Surveying.
• A view to completing the APC to become a Chartered Building Surveyor.
Salary/benefits:
• £25-35k – depending on experience
• Quarterly team outings
• 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (company gift annual leave over Christmas)
