Job responsibilities In this exciting role you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of the programme of work by designing, developing and overseeing sound design solutions, as well as dealing with the production or overseeing of scheme documents and reports in accordance with the relevant contract. You will also be responsible for providing information to populate the Risk and Decision registers and update this information as the project develops and to ensure that suitable site investigations are undertaken. What do we need from you? Ideally the successful candidate will hold a degree in a relevant discipline, as well as having experience of working on design contracts and using DMRB. Knowledge and Skills: Extensive experience of working to an established build programme and managing priorities; Member of the CIOB and/or qualified to NVQ level 5 in Construction Management, or a time served tradesman with considerable experience across a variety of construction trades; In depth knowledge of all aspects of construction and house building, and the relevant legislative requirements e.g. Health and Safety, NHBC requirements and Building Regulations. Title: Roofer Location: Lincolnshire Business Area: Housing Maintenance A better home for your maintenance and repair skills. We operate a contract to service over 4000 homes in partnership with North Kesteven District Council and are currently recruiting for a Roofer to undergo social housing duties on a wide range of void and occupied properties. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will carry out reactive maintenance consisting of repairs to pitch and flat roofs, identifying fault analysis and providing technical solutions to issues. You'll be provided with your appointments via PDA as you focus on maintaining high levels of service delivery. What are we looking for? An experienced roofer ideally operating within the Housing Maintenance sector. Your previous experience will have covered domestic and commercial roofing and, you'll also have a solid understanding of the industry regulations. We will require you to be fully "Tetra fall arrest system" trained or required to complete the necessary training and be a CSCS card holder.
