Due to an imminent retirement this very well-established civils and groundworks contractor are looking to hire a full time, permanent Quantity Surveyor. They have a strong project pipeline and portfolio of longstanding client relationships making this a secure position in these uncertain times. Based near Pontypridd the operate across South Wales, South Gloucestershire and Bristol.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, your time will be split between office and site managing the financial elements of groundworks projects predominantly completing valuations. An understanding of the estimating function would be ideal but this function is covered by the existing estimating team.
For a chance of success following applying for this role you will need a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a similar role and a relevant construction qualification such as a HND/HNC or degree.

Involve Recruitment are currently looking for an Exeprienced civils gang for an immediate start in and around the Peterborough area. the ideal gang will consist on 1x Lead hand (w/ SSSTS), 1x Excavator op and 1x skilled groundworker.
