They are looking to recruit a Senior Site Manager for a new build housing scheme, near Nursling just north of Southampton. The site in traditionally build housing scheme and you will be working on site with an Assistant Manager. Applicants will ideally have experience of working for a residential developer in a Site Management position. As Site Manager you will be responsible for the management of the various sub-contractors on site ensuring that they adhere to the company health, safety and Quality standards. You will require good communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines and It is essential that applicants should be able to display a settled career history as well as up to date CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid tickets. My client is a leading developer involved in large scale regeneration projects. They are looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager for a new build scheme in Birmingham. Ideally they are looking for someone who will in 18 months be able to progress to another project by Milton Keynes so longer term being able to commute to either location would be beneficial. As assistant manager you will be responsible for helping the Site Manager with the day to day management of the sub contractors on site ensuring the scheme keeps to programme and that all company Health, Safety and Quality procedures are adhered to. Applicants should have experience of working on similar new build housing schemes for a developer or Contractor in either a site or assistant role or possible in a trade role but looking to take your first step into management.
