We are working on behalf of a wide range of companies in the South West.
The daily duties would involve:
•To handle tender preparation from acceptance of enquiry through to final submission working to strict deadlines throughout
•To prepare detailed analytical estimates from first principles within defined timescales on large and complex tenders.
•To ensure that the build up to the tender submission and all supporting documents are maintained in a logical and sequential manner, liaising with clients to obtain information where necessary
•To produce a fully detailed quotation in accordance with the tender documentation and in line with Company Procedures
•To organise quotations from external suppliers/sub-contractors and resolve any queries that arise including technical and commercial compliance.
•To make a preliminary assessment of overhead costs and prepare tender summaries for management agreement
•To prepare material and labour take-off for pricing
•To participate in handover of successful bids to delivery team
•To accurately populate and complete client pricing schedules as part of tender return submission.
•To ensure that all assumptions/exclusions are fully detailed both internally and externally to the customer within tender return submission
•To maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
•To attend site visits where required to build or verify asset data
•To support internal operational projects when required
•To be creative to develop innovative alternative solutions in order to give the company a competitive edge.
