Your New Role As Senior Building Surveyor, you will act as a technical lead within the service, responsible for managing complex inspections, surveys and improvement works across the housing and corporate property portfolio. Reporting to the Service Manager or Service Lead, you will carry out detailed condition surveys, diagnose complex defects and develop practical, cost-effective solutions. You will prepare technical specifications, oversee high value repair and improvement works, and manage contractor performance to ensure delivery meets agreed standards, budgets and programmes. You will also support dispute resolution, provide authoritative advice to senior colleagues and elected members, and play a key role in mentoring junior surveyors and promoting professional best practice. What You'll Need to Succeed You will bring significant experience as a building surveyor, ideally within a local authority or social housing environment. Strong knowledge of building construction, defect diagnosis and contract management is essential. Property Clearance Operatives- Swindon- SN2 - X1 Jobs Available Property Clearance Operatives are needed for a mobile role in Swindon/Bath The job duties are below are needed for long term positions working with one of the UK's largest Property Security, Maintenance and Management companies. Duties will include: Driving and loading Vans and Caged Vans Cleaning and Clearing vacant social housing properties, both the interior and exterior gardens after the tenant has vacated the property. Remove any lounge, bedroom or kitchen furniture left behind.
