About the Loader/Yard Operative role: Our production team are responsible for ensuring that Lemon can deliver the service to our customers, our production operatives must work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of our cut and bent facility, ensuring we produce a high-quality finished product within our deadlines all the while ensuring high health and standards are always maintained. The job is of an incredibly varied nature, and team members will be asked to rotate between various tasks throughout the day. Subject to training these tasks will include * Operating Overhead Cranes * Driving Forklifts, Reach Trucks or Side Loaders * Greeting customers on arrival to the yard * Cutting product to size using abrasive wheels * Loading vehicles including Vans, 26T Rigids and Flatbed Artics * Operating vehicle HIAB's * Offloading incoming deliveries * Carrying out safety and maintenance checks * Ensuring the yard is organised and safe * Other tasks as required due to business needs The position is of a manual nature and involves lifting and handling of steel whilst working outside in all weathers with minimal cover.
