Finishing Foreman
The Opportunity
Our client requires a Finishing Foreman with a strong background in commercial builds, they will be working on a the final stages of a college build.
All applicants must have SMSTS and First Aid (3 day course)
Core Skills / Experience
Candidates for the Finishing Foreman position will be able to demonstrate the following skills/ experience:
* Proven track record of working on commercial projects
* Liaising with colleagues and clients
* Overseeing project schedules and ensuring working is completed on time
* Monitoring budgets to avoid overspend
* Supervising construction workers and subcontractors
* Reporting on project progress to senior managers and stakeholders
* Conducting quality and safety inspections
* Ensuring work is finished to the agreed standards
* Maintaining quality control checks
* Coordinating teams
* Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
* Signing off and handing completed work over to the client.
This is a temporary contract role, for roughly 8 weeks.

The Opportunity
Working on a new build housing project in the North Cheshire area overseeing the internal finishes of this project from pre-plaster through to handover. You will be responsible for liaising with subcontractors and onsite trades to oversee the completion and correction of internal finishes in preparation for CML and handover.
Skills and Experience
This role will require a hands on manager who is happy rolling up their sleeves and dealing with all onsite matters. We are looking for candidates with experience working on residential housing project including the finishing and snagging stages.
You will require a current CSCS and SMSTS/SSSTS and first aid qualification.
